The work you're doing to improve the environment of Te Taitokerau is important and we want to recognise and celebrate that. Sharing your mahi helps inspire others who are also working tirelessly to achieve their environmental goals.

Applying for an award helps tell the story of the environmental mahi happening in Northland and shows that collectively we are making a positive difference.

If you’re an individual, community group, school, whānau, hapū, iwi, business, or leader working on an environmental project within the Northland region, you could be eligible for an award. You can nominate yourself, or someone else with their approval.

All entries must demonstrate significant benefit to the region’s environment. We’re looking for initiatives that align with Northland Regional Council’s core areas of focus of healthy waters, flourishing native life, resilient communities, a strong economy, effective transport networks and meaningful partnerships with tangata whenua.

Once entries are open, entering is easy. Start by creating a login on the application form so you can save and return to your entry at any point.

Read the judging criteria for the category you are applying in and draft the content for your application. When you are ready, use the APPLY NOW button and copy this information into the application form.
